Expert for accounting process implementation (sap knowledge needed)

As member of the transition team you will be responsible for implementation and management of amount of challenging and interesting activities:

- Analysis of information requirements
- Proposal of alternative solutions within a SAP data model in due consideration of best-practice approach and identification of optimization opportunities
- Identification of opportunities to optimization processes within specific business areas
- Analysis of accounting models and alignment with the central data model template
- Anallysis of interdependencies within respective customizing settings
- Develop concepts respective mapping/transformation rules for transferring assigned area from one SAP System to another (to include the technical validations, dependencies and respective customizing settings for account groups)
- Evaluation and realization of data management process improvements to ensure cost reduction and increase of efficiency and/or quality
- Implementation and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Coordinating with other work streams and projects (Integration of Functions and Cross-Functions) to integrate further data management functions
- Development of training material and conduction of in-house-trainings for data management topics and processes
- Status reporting of your projects in front of the management team
- Identify and assess risks, establish contingency plans and identify triggering events and responsibilities for initiating mitigating action

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- Strong accounting experience
- Expert knowledge of SAP modules
- Ideally experience in the field of Purchase to pay, Order to cash, GL, Statutory accounting, Payments, payroll
- Experience in operational data management and governance including the respective customizing settings (e.g. account groups, payment blocks)
- Strong analytical and process thinking
