Team leader - management accounting (financial services)

We are searching for experienced team leader and accountant to lead the team of 10 people within the management accounting team of international company operating in financial services. This role was created because of the internal promotions within the company.

Main responsibilities:

- Coaching, leading and motivation of the team of 10 people
- Ensure KPIs and SLAs of the team are met
- Individual and team goals setting
- Be the matter expert for the area of accounting and help the team members with resolution of topic related problems
- Point of escalations for the business
- Reporting directly to the department head
- Participate on amount of global projects

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- University degree in field of finance
- Fluent level of English langauge
- At least 4 years of experience in field of accounting
- Complex accounting knowledge is must
- Experience with accounting of financial instruments is advantage
- Leadership experience is MUST
- US GAAP or IFRS knowledge is advantage
- The position is suitable for experienced team leaders from shared shared service centers or banking/insurance sector
- The role is also suitable for experienced Seniors in external audit companies
