A major and fast expanding international company, operating all over world is looking for qualified candidates to fill the position LEADER OF ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT. Place of work: Košice.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for supervision and control of the general accounting area for a specific country
- Supervise department to ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure that all reporting requirements are met and prepared for consolidation on country level
- Involvement in strategic initiatives of the company in an accounting matters
- Manage complex accounting work (monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities)
- Responsible for consolidated financial statements and report preparation on a regular basis
- Perform highly review of balance sheet, general ledger and income statement
- Monitoring of activities according to KPI´s
- Perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts in a timely manner
- Reporting of submitted and consolidated data to headquarter

Requirements
Personality, requirements and skills:
- Master´s degree of economics or finance
- At least 4 years experiences in finance area, audit, preferably accounting
- Experience on leading position
- Fluent English is a MUST
- Professional accounting, audit and controlling background
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with MS-Office, SAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Master´s degree of economics or finance
- At least 4 years experiences in finance area, audit, preferably accounting
- Experience on leading position
