Enterprise architect

- Manages application portfolio information and drives Enterprise level strategic direction for assigned region.
- Collaborate with Vice Presidents across all areas of IT (Enterprise Demand Management, Global Applications, Global Infrastructure, etc.).
- Collaborate with Enterprise Demand Management on feasibility studies, benefits and EA fitness assessment for ideas in the pipeline for an assigned region.
- Collaborate and work closely with requestors and various Enterprise Architects across business units and regions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Architects across business units to drive various EA initiatives for an assigned region.
- Provide feedback for improvements in current enterprise architecture environment, help detect critical deficiencies and redundancies and recommend solutions for improvement.
- Serve as an active member of the Enterprise Architecture team.
- Reviews and provides feedback on feasibility studies of application and technology requests submitted to Enterprise Architecture Governance Council and share the findings with Enterprise Architecture Review Board in advance for an assigned region.
- For an assigned region, drive the enterprise application and technology evaluation process and evaluate the requests received.
- Support and facilitate training related to Enterprise Architecture processes for an assigned region.
- Provides consulting support to Enterprise Architecture team with various other initiatives which are relevant to assigned region.
- Ensure all the review requests for the region are processed as per the established EA processes and recorded.
- Participate in providing business requirements.
- Provide support to Enterprise Architecture team for continuous improvements.

- Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science,computer engineering or a related field of study.
- TOGAF 9 Certification
- 10 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as enterprise architecture, technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations) in a multitier environment
- Previous experience as an enterprise architect in a large global organization preferred.
- Familiarity with basic information management practices.
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and technical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture.
- Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes.
- Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories.
- Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions.
- Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements.
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of EA alternatives.
