Security specialist - threat protection

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established international company.
You will be responsible for:
- Implenting and leading the EMEA Threat investigation team.
- Ensuring the execution of specific strategic functions and implementing high-end, business-wide, critical strategy.
- Providiing guidance, planning and direction for business unit(s), maintains budgets and proactively allocates resources and time for the business units or functions supported. Performs additional job duties as required.
- Providing leadership across well-defined and homogeneous teams with moderate degrees of complexity.
- Interpreting the IT strategy and aligns resources and people to meet strategy goals.
- Design and deploy network forensics solutions and capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance the current network forensics infrastructure to ensure absolute availability of critical security alerting, investigation and response infrastructure.
- Enhance network forensics alerting and informing capabilities by taking input from other critical security teams and designing the alerts and reports to be delivered.
- Investigate network information to help determine improved alerting and informing capabilities without drive from other security teams.

Candidate Requirements :
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work with and lead an international Team independently, complete required tasks with minimum supervision
- Ability to maintain and improve skills through both structured training and independent research
- Skilled experience with major operating systems, such as Windows, UNIX, Linux OS including Administration and Security
- A good understanding of Network Security controls such as IPS, DLP, WAF, and SSL VPN.
- Knowledge of network protocols, data flows, vulnerabilities, and attacks within a TCP/IP environment
- Understanding of network protocol analysis and raw data captures
