Assets accounting specialist

The client is American company with its activities all over the world. Their fixed assets accounting team is currently looking for a new member on a position ASSETS ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST.

Your main duties include:
- Responsible for fixed – assets register maintenance
- Accurate and on time recording of all assets into the software
- Processing of all assets’ transfers, depreciations and amortization in accordance with internal company principles
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure appropriate classification of capital expenditures
- Monthly reconciliations of assets GL accounts
- Provide regular reporting
- Ensuring all accounting procedures are done in timely and accurate manner
- Identification and future implementation of process improvements leading to highest team efficiency

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- Degree in financial area
- Active knowledge of English language
- Min. 2 years experience in Accounting
- Experience with fixed – assets accounting is an ADVANTAGE
- Knowledge of accounting software (SAP/Navision/Hyperion/Oracle)
- Advanced MS Office user
- Strong will to develop skills in accounting
- Strong analytical thinking
- Be a responsible person with good communication skills
