Senior windows specialist

This is an opportunity to further develop your professional competence and the possibility to pursue your future professional career in many different directions. Currently we are looking for SENIOR WINDOWS SPECIALIST for our international client.

Main tasks:

- 2nd/3rd level support for systems, applications and interfaces
- Understanding data flow between systems, interfaces to 3rd parties, dependencies between systems, applications. Able to trace and fix problems in applications and integration level and support IT development team and third party vendors.
- Responsible for operating systems /mainly Windows, LINUX/
- Responsible for Microsoft applications/features (AD, GP, KMS, WSUS, DHCP, DNS)
- Responsible for VMware (ESXi,VCenter)
- Responsible for SAN and backups (IBM DS platform, IBM TSM)
- Monitor performance and availability of systems and applications.
- Deploy changes in applications on requested environment.
- Monitor issue tracking tool for incoming incidents and act accordingly.
- Analyze problems in software applications and inform 3th level vendor support
- Recognize the critical elements of application problems; determine solutions and make logical recommendations.
- Perform daily IT-related banking operations, mainly focused on interfaces with third parties.
- Supporting Change Lead in evaluation of proposed system changes and performing the changes; or supervises and validates changes done by other parties.
- Close cooperation with various business partners on definition, testing and operation of interfaces.
- Escalate problems to supervisor or third party as appropriate.

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- University education
- English - fluent
- At least 3-5 years of IT experience
- Excellent knowledge of Windows
- Experience with Virtualization using VMware
- Experience with storage, SAN and backups
- Windows scripting (bat, wsh)
- At least basic Unix experience, preferably IBM AIX
- At least basic understanding of TCP/IP protocol, ISO/OSI layers
- Good communication skills to facilitate communication with IT and functional specialist, business partners and IT suppliers
- Ability to independently solve poorly defined problems, structured approach to tasks
