Senior accounting professional – statutory accounting

Multinational company based in Bratislava is looking for experience statutory accountant for senior accounting role.

Main responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financial statements
- Ensuring accuracy of accounting activities regarding Slovak GAAP
- Regular closing activities, balance sheet reconciliation
- Journal posting
- Cooperation with other accounting departments in Bratislava
- Communication with external and internal auditors
- Preparation of all relevant document needed for tax and audit issues
- Driving process improvements

The candidate should meet the following minimum criteria:

- Master’s degree in finance/economy
- 4 years of experience in finance
- High level of understating Slovak GAAP with proven experience
- Perfect level of English
- Additional accounting /finance certificate is an advantage (ACCA, CIPA, CIMA)
- Ability to work independently
- Detail oriented
