Green Field Project - Chemical process Engineer

Great opportunity for Chemical engineers with experience from production companies with processes related to metals. (But the ones like Metallica, Judas Priest or Iron Maiden :) )

What will be your tasks and responsibilities?

• Technical Expertise:

  • Act as the leading technical expert in the organization on chemical processes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers and technical staff.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in chemical engineering.

• Process Design & Optimization:

  • Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Evaluate existing processes and implement improvements to increase safety and quality.
  • Analyze process data to identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all chemical processes adhere to safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead initiatives for safety training and awareness for engineering and production staff.

• Environmental Stewardship:

  • Implement and monitor environmental management systems in chemical processes.
  • Develop strategies for waste reduction and resource conservation.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

• Innovation & Technological Advancements:

  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions in chemical processes.
  • Lead research and development efforts for process improvements and new production methods.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products and processes to market.

• Quality Control:

  • Develop and maintain quality control standards for chemical processes.
  • Oversee testing and monitoring of products and processes to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work with quality assurance teams to address any issues and implement corrective actions.

• Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects related to process design, optimization, and improvements.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets; ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project goals align with business objectives.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain thorough documentation of process designs, changes, and improvements.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure that all records and documentation comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Communication & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., production, quality assurance, R&D) to integrate chemical processes across the organization.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in chemical processes and production methods.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize processes and promote best practices throughout the organization.
