Automation Tester

We are currently seeking Junior and Experienced Automation Testers for our client - leading company in medical sphere. The product, on which development we participate, is medical device, that helps patients with diabetes make their lives with the diagnosis easier.

As medical devices must be always bug-free, the important part of its development is testing!

As an automation tester, you will be responsible for:

- Test Design an Test development – creation of test cases and check list, test procedure
- Manual Functional testing
- Test automation and scripting
- Test Procedures execution
- create, track and retest software defects in designated defect tracking tool
- reporting – Defect Tracking, regular reports preparation, test evaluation, summary report preparation
- interaction with customer regarding ongoing activities

Moreover, in case you are Experienced Automation Tester you will also play an important role in:

- Requirements analysis
- Regression support
- VMs setup and support
- Estimation

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Experienced Automation Tester for us means that you:

- have 4-6 years of work experience in software testing
- have experience with issue tracking tools
- are experienced with QA methodologies, processes and tools
- have good understanding of quality assurance and product quality
- are able to perform tests against Mobile applications, Desktop and Web applications, both front-end UI as well as back-end databases, application servers and services
- have experience in testing specifications and test plans writing
- are good in English
- are a self-starter with good communication skills

Even though Experienced Testers are always needed, always wanted, always welcomed, GlobalLogic Slovakia is ready to give a chance also to Junior Automation Testers. Skills and qualities needed for this position are:

- up to 2 years of work experience in software testing - scripting experience
- knowledge of QA methodologies, processes and tools
- understanding of quality assurance and product quality
- knowledge of testing specifications and test plans writing
- good English in written and verbal form
- quick learner with strong attention to detail
