Configuration Manager

GlobalLogic is currently looking for an Configuration Manager whose responsibility will be to design, build, and provide ongoing Amazon AWS infrastructure support.

Job description:
• You will be responsible for effective configuration, operation, and maintenance of custom software deployed into Amazon AWS virtual infrastructure
• You will participatee in technical design and development of the virtual infrastructure capable of running a highly scalable custom web application
• You will ensure that operating systems, software systems, relational and NoSQL databases, and related procedures adhere to Amazon AWS best practices and industry standards for highly scalable Java applications

IT

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

UNIX/Linux administration - Advanced

• 3+ year of experience with Linux administration
• Advanced Bash scripting
• Advanced MySQL/Amazon RDS administration skills
• Mongo DB, Rabbit MQ administration skills
• Advanced Java installation, patching, configuration skills
• Deep knowledge of clusters, load balancers, scalability SSL certificates installation
• Amazon AWS skills (Beanstalk, SNS, S3, EC2, RDS, CDN)
• Documentation skills (creating guides, instructions, etc.)
• Readiness to work flexible hours
• Stress tolerance
