Professional Services Consultant

• Work closely with American company specializing in business service management (BSM) software, partner and customer resources at client sites (in EU) to deliver required outcomes with BSM solutions and produce additional business with clients;
• Driving customers to manage their IT as a business;
• Transfer knowledge of the company approach (best practices) to business service management;
• Apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness and efficiency of specific functions or applications:
o Implement, customize, and configure company’s products;
o Integrate company’s products to each other and third-party applications;
o Improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions delivered to company’s clients as a means to improve company’s business margins;
• Deliver presentations at technical and managerial level (e.g. solution overview, business solution design, delivery progress updates, solution adoption plans, trainings etc.);
• Maintain open lines of communication throughout each project phase, appropriately highlighting progress, risks and issues to all stakeholders, both internal and external;
• Pro-actively maintain a deep technical and functional knowledge of company solutions and offerings.

• 3+ years background in IT (preferably IT consulting, solution architecture) including work experience in the points mentioned in the Position Description;
• Must have a working knowledge of IT operations and management obtained within Telecom, Banking, Industrial areas;
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills;
• German and other EU language is a plus;
• Highly motivated, enterprising, fast and proactive learner, excellent team player;
• Solid hands-on experience with some or all of the following disciplines:
• Cross platform system administration (Unix and Windows)
• Scripting / programming (e.g. UNIX shell, Perl, Python...)
• Database Administration (e.g. Oracle, SQL…)
• Networking (Cisco iOS, Net Gear routers)
• Willingness to travel for billable utilization of up to 75% (esp. in Europe and Middle East but may extend to worldwide).
