Java developer

GlobalLogic is looking for mid skilled Java developers with extensive experience with development of web based applications, server backend and web site development.

Development of multi platform solution to address the phenomenon of increasing limitations of physical and sometimes mental acuity resulting in emotional and physical harm for growing group of aging people. Software solution for handheld devices is expected to decrease the emotional damage which comes in the form of emotional detachment and isolation from family and friends by integrating them into social life of younger family members and providing ability to share their life experience.

•Strong enterprise Java development skills (2+ years)
•Strong Web Services development skills - Ajax, REST, Jersey, Web services, XML, JSON, JSONP
•Experience using relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySql, Oracle) including Database modeling
•UML
•Experience with libraries: Spring, Hibernate, Jdbc
•Testing experience: Junit, SoapUI,
•Experience with version control systems (GIT)
•Experience with continuous delivery (Jenkins, Bamboo)
•Other experience: Google cloud messaging, Xmpp, Jabber, OpenFire, , Linux (Ubuntu, Debian), Maven
•Experience with Agile development methodology
