Position: Accounting manager CZ, SK, SLO, CRO
Workload: 100 % FTE, 2 years contract - maternity cover
Unit: Finance
Reports to: VP Consolidation & Reporting / Vienna Accounting Center
Location: Vienna, Austria
Nature and aim of the position:
The holder of this position is responsible for collaboration local offices and Vienna, collaboration in Team Vienna, fully Support of VP Consolidation & Reporting
Main duties and responsibilities:
Leading the team of accountants with a team leader responsible for CZ, SK, HR, PL and SI:
responsibility for month end and year-end closing bookings/checking’s with full support for the team and local tax advisors
Taxes – income, WHT, deferred (accrual calculation + support for tax advisors)
VAT (calculation, preparation, booking, providing to the tax authorities, explanations to the tax authorities)
Act as primary interface to external statutory auditors and provide support to internal and external auditors with respect to site matters
Contact point for the local authorities and tax advisors
Control and authorization of payments and bank collections
Support Projects
Support local requests
Responsible for group result
Provide analytical support to identify key variances and the causes (ie. Support team leader by regular BS review)
providing local authorities with local statements
full Backup for the Team members, professional and technical support to all employees of the department in their daily routine
Process check, process improvements
Ensuring a timely and business oriented reporting towards local management and holding with cooperation with controllers
Willing to work at a detailed level on a regular basis

University education (Master's degree)
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1) or Slovak - Proficiency (C2) or Czech - Proficiency (C2) or German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Profile and education:
Highly skilled Finance candidates required
Education: accounting – University - master degree
Skills: proven work experience on similar position with more than 8 years of experience – important is the proved experience of local statutory accounting (Slovakia or CZ)
Abilities: work under pressure, team work, work in international environment
Other characteristics: autonomy and independence
English language skills (oral & written) on the advanced level, German at least basic, Slovak or Czech (mother tongue)
Independent, goal-oriented and self-motivating personality.
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload, strong time management and high analytical working skills, strong team orientation, strong communication skills, prioritization, delegation
Specific skills and knowledge:
Experience managing a team or department, including interviewing, coaching, and building development plans.
Strong accounting knowledge and experience
Local language skills (CZ, SK) required
German language – advantage
Desirable 8 years’ experience, preferably multi-national experience in finance.
Team player with social competence
Ability to manage a team of 3 accountants and team leader
Work independently to complete assignments
