Position: Payments Representative
Reports to: Payments Supervisor
Location: Bratislava Slovakia
Nature and aim of the position
This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of developing Payments operations environment. The focus of the Payments Representantive’s role is on verification, recording and control of manual exceptional transactions combining bank transfers, cash transfers to credit cards and issuing cheques on behalf of Global Blue and external parties.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Process refund exceptions (Manual payments, Reissues, Stop, Reversals) in various currencies towards travelers globally
- Perform quality control on received refund requests
- Keep defined SLA and KPI on track for processes within given responsibility
- Report and escalate errors and transaction failures
- Enhance departmental policies and procedures
- Anticipate internal/external business issues; recommend process or service improvements related to optimization of payment channels (credit cards, bank accounts and cheques)
- Recognize and communicate possible improvements
- Assist in projects and system implementations
- Take ownership of any ad-hoc requests
- Must cope with international environment
