Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The position holder will be part of an Operations function within Global Blue covering Processing of Tax Free Forms, Customer Service, Refund Payments and other back office operations. The position holder will have the responsibility for first managing the refund payments and charges in various currencies and via various channels in defined quality and SLA and second for the developing of the operations of Global Blue towards the internal & external customers' needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Executing or ensuring the competence of the team in areas of
• People management incl. development, assessments and evaluations (team of ca. 15 people)
• Processing of refund payments, exceptional payments and charges in defined quality and SLA
• Ensuring the adequate and measureable key controls are in place along with 4-eyes principle
• KPI and regular reporting package maintenance
• Payments & charges settlement, funding & reconciliation (link to Accounting & Treasury)
• Be in the role of an SME, understand the E2E process incl. system flows
• Optimisation of all payment channels (credit cards, bank accounts, cheques, Alipay etc.) towards the internal & external customers´ needs
• Support projects and system implementations
• Anticipate internal/external business issues, act as escalation point for operational events & incidents
• Relationship management with credit card companies
Reporting and collaboration
• Payments team
• Operational teams (Customer Service, Processing, QA etc.)
• Other Global Blue functions (mainly Technology, Accounting, Treasury, etc.)
• External parties (banks, credit card companies, etc.)

• Experience in international environment appreciated
• Managerial experience in the B2C environment is desirable

• BPM / Operational excellence methodology experience is an advantage
• Leadership and people management (min. team of 5)
• Flexibility, creativity and innovation, analytical thinking, reliability, responsibility
