Business Intelligence Data Analyst

Main aims of the position:

- Generate standard or custom reports, summarize business or economic data for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Be responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analyzing data.
- Proactively continuously improve the information provided to management, ensuring that there is enough context in each “report” or document sent to senior management.

Main duties:

- Identify key metrics for driving the right decisions at the right time.
- Partner with teams to gather the right data into a central repository for quick access and dash-boarding.
- Provide guidance on data management and extraction.
- Disseminate information regarding tools, reports, or metadata enhancements.
- Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
- Maintain or update business intelligence tools, databases, dashboards, systems, or methods.
- Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users: import, clean, transform, validate or model data with the purpose of understanding or making conclusions from the data for decision making purposes.
- Present data in charts, graphs, tables, design and develop relational databases for collecting data, including building or designing data input or data collection screens.
- Responsible for improving data quality and for designing or presenting conclusions gained from analysing data using statistical tools.
- Design and draw own inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool.
