Senior Database Engineer – DB2 databases

- Facilitate the development of DB2 application architectures and scale with in a distributed topology
- Works on small to medium scale projects of diverse scope where analysis of situation requires evaluation and judgment
- Maintains an expert knowledge base of both the core application platform verticals and the flag-ship solutions that leverage them
- Contributes to the development and implementation of standards and guidelines for the integration of multiple platforms, operating systems and application platforms across the enterprise
- Develops and documents system design and configurations
- Assists with design, integration, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs and integrations
- Contributes to evaluating current systems, working on issues, planning projects and vendor/product analysis efforts
