Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Actively seek opportunities to acquire and acquire new Fleet customers fulfilling the company standards.
• Maximize the overall Fleet sales contribution by balancing volume, profitability, credit performance
• Management of relationship with fleet customers who already contracted in order to maximize the volume and profitability
• Responsible to define price & discount strategy, analyze profitability (per site, customer, country), review of standard and non standard customer offer
• Deliver the plan by applying the SPANCOP sales methodology process (S=Suspect who can buy this, P=Prospect the chances and needs, A=Approach the prospect, N=Negotiate the deal f, C=Close the deal as negotiated, O=Order. Get the order in writing, P=Payment follow up.)
• Co-operate with other acquisition sources incl. District and site managers and service providers including the local external contracts Growing the business whilst reducing costs.
• Resolution of customers problems related to transaction on sites, system, payments, services incl. internal/external coordination of the solution (suppliers, site operators) and including potential follow up and update of manuals
• Analyze sales results and revert with corrective actions to make the plan
• Obtain knowledge about market
• Co-ordination of marketing activities – this internally, with partners as well as service stations
• Management of master data and preparation of various management reports
• Maintenance of fleet customers acquisition tool, Fleet web site and other supporting tools and applications
• Active co-operation on ad-hoc projects which related to fleet business (customer database clean-up, take-over of customers when new site opened, review of documents, active participation on meetings…)
• Active calling of potential customers incl. providing of contract proposals and exchange of required data and obtaining of customer signature
• Registration of new customers
• Follow up of internal customer contract flow (SAP credit, system settings)
• Internal handling of customer application and base customer credit check
• Customer Contracts preparation and evidence and administration
• Solving of customers and site employees system questions
• Administer every change in the customer/card status. ( activate, delete, alter, etc…)
• Coordinate system development (Fleet system, SAP, POS, Terminals) in line with strategy & offer
• Responsible for all SLA’s and contracts with system/services providers and 3th parties (shared with IT for terminals) and for all second line support (first line is local)
• Obtain knowledge about market
• Ongoing open-eye risk management
• Co-operation with other fleet card providers which accepted on clients sites and transfer related informations and instructions from/to sites.
• Co-ordinate flowless acceptance of bank cards, ensuring that site dealers informed about Bank card acceptance and terminal manual, communication with bank.
• Follow up bad debts and overdues. (first contact)
• Input and follow up of manual transactions
• Follow up and administration public tender
• Accountable about the masterdata fleet.
• Reports preparation, various database management
