Job description, responsibilities and duties
Negotiation of the best possible convenience product purchasing conditions, proper product range and mix in the offer as well as timely purchase of new products appearing on the market.
• Ensure the best possible convenience products purchasing conditions
• Ensure new convenience products for sites
• Ensure smooth vendors documents processing through the system (e.g. invoices)
Key Activities:
• Maintains and develop all sources of NFI: CP, CW and OI
• Ensure adherence to company’s high HSE standards and business ethics.
• Manage and optimize purchasing of convenience products, selection of vendors, negotiations of purchasing conditions and purchasing contracts:
• Negotiate the best possible convenience products purchasing conditions
• Find optimal balance between purchase prices, payment terms and rebates
• Make sure that all rebates are invoiced in a timely manner
• Search on the market the most suitable convenience products for service stations
• Make sure all vendors documents (invoices) are processed timely
• Manage wholesale process for mode of operation and make sure invoice documents are handled electronically through EDI
• Actively participate in grocery concept testing and implementation
• Prepare regular convenience products promotions, coordinates the implementation with other site promotions: LO, Fleet
• Monitor the market trends and share the knowledge with the rest of retail marketing group
• Take active role in merchandising training preparations
