Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Preparation of VAT tax return, EC Sales list and Intrastat reports at high quality level and on time
- VAT payment arrangements
- VAT postings, clearing of accounts
- Identifying incorrect postings, coordinating AP team
- Advising in choosing tax codes in order to prevent wrong postings, ensure all corrections of tax codes are performed in agreed deadlines
- Reconciliation of VAT accounts
- Perform VAT trainings for other departments
- Support local country in case of tax inspections and provide explanation to Tax Authorities in cooperation with local country
- Query handling

Personality requirements and skills

- High School/University degree + 3 years experience in accounting
- Understanding of accounting procedures and finance processes
- Action oriented, proactive and resourceful in solving problems
- Ability to work effectively in an international environment
- VAT knowledge
- Excel on advanced level
