Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Deliver training modules to the teams within Slovakia which demonstrates a measureable impact to department KPI’s and overall weekly sales.
• Identify solutions and or actions required to enhance the selling skills within the opticians department.
• Monitor sales and KPI performance for Slovakia stores and make suggestions where actions could be taken.
• Coach and support the team, influence changes in behaviour to achieve “What Good Looks Like” standards, using visit sheets to record actions/next steps.
• Monitor and record the performance of stores visited to analyse success of training provided and follow up as required.
• Produce and distribute training reports, feeding back results to stakeholders for the role.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Keep up to date with all relevant legislation and ways of working.
• Develop an outstanding relationship with the Regional Manager, to ensure all actions discussed are reviewed on ROM Visits.

The following measures will be used to ensure, following training, there has been an impact on the following:

• Numbers of glasses orders per store
• Upgrade sales
• Increase in the average order value
• Increase in the % of varifocal lens sales
• Reduced Waste

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

The ideal candidate will have proven Optical experience and will be able to demonstrate how they have improved performance within the stores. Great understanding of optician enviroment is a must, optician or optometry education is advantage.

Candidates must also possess:

• A proven track record of success in a target-driven environment
• Impressive people-management and performance management skills
• Fantastic communication skills and the ability to build strong business relationships
• Familiarity with selling techniques
