Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Full operational responsibility for supply chain of the customer
* Management of single or multiple operations
* Assuring of maximized efficient process of logistics services delivery, fulfilling KPIs
* Implementation of strategies to reduce costs and to increase productivity
* Monitor performance and observance of country, customer related regulations of teams
* Monitoring of proper resources planning by team leaders and ensure cross team support
* Team leadership and active support of their development, skills
* Facilitate problem solving & collaboration
* Attend regular meetings as directed by management and ensure regular meetings with direct reports, customers, 3PLs and other stake holders

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

* Background in logistics / freight forwarding air, ocean, road and rail and logistics
* 5-7 years of working experience in logistics, transportation - expertise in ocean freight is a must
* Supply chain management / 4PL/LLP experience would be an advantage
* Excellent knowledge of English language is essential, other language would be welcome
* Ability of effective people management through KPI setting and measurement – experience in managing team minimum of 15 subordinates)
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to influence and convince others in a way that results in acceptance and agreement
* Very good communication and organizing skills
* Strong decision making capabilities and high accountability
* Customer focus, network and relationship building
* Excellent time management (ability to work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines
