Bratislava-based FREQUENTIS Solutions & Services belongs to the Austrian FREQUENTIS group (www.frequentis.com), specialized in mission-critical communication and IT solutions, e.g. in air traffic control, public safety, maritime or defense.
We are looking for Project manger who will be responsible for a successful execution of customer projects in the Maritime domain.
The Maritime organization provides functionality that supports the needs of today’s rescue coordination and traffic management authority market segments, thus answering the needs of modern Search and Rescue / Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) and the Navy.

Your Main Tasks:
Project manager coordinates all activities necessary to deliver solutions to our customers, according to their requirements, in time and in budget. This includes:
• Integrated project planning and continuous monitoring of project work with regard to resources, budget, milestones/deadlines, coordination with cooperation partners and subcontractors
• Selection of appropriate service providers and proper specification of work packages
• Definition and maintenance of the project organization
• Securing resources
• Principal contact person for the customer
• Generating new business from ongoing projects and customers (change requests)
• Internal and external reporting according to the current project status
• Risk management
• Development of claim management strategies
• Organization and application of lessons learned as the basis for a continuous improvement process
Required Experience and Knowledge
• Experience with high-complexity projects (budget exceeding 1M€)
• 5-8 years of experience as project manager in an IT environment
• Technical know-how paired with an understanding of economics
• Project management tools
• Spanish is a must
