Sales Representative for Slovakia

Overview

We are a manufacturer of high quality precision cutting tools headquartered in Italy. The company was founded in ‘40 with over 70 years history of producing metal cutting tools. The products include a variety of standard tools and special tools which are produced according to the requirements of the customers. Our products are widely used in areas of automotive and machinery manufacturer. Due to the growing demands of our products in Slovakia and in line with this expansion, our company is in need of sales personnel with a strong technical background who can grow and support the development of the business in the whole country.

We are seeking a Sales Representative for Slovakia who will report directly to the Italian headquarters.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Secures orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and evaluating and updating their current manufacturing methods or contacting by phone.
• Secures sales opportunities to quote on customer requirements.
• Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to customers.
• Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, other key personnel).
• Submits monthly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships.
• Performs all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
• Provides lost business reports on a monthly basis.

Requirements

• Three years' experience in Cutting Tools or a related industry.
• Outside sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, personable, extroverted personality, well organized.
• Candidates with CNC Machine Operation experience may be considered.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, BA preferred.
• Must be willing to travel within the entire country and occasionally travel outside it.
