Are you an outstanding full-stack developer with experience in distributed systems? You want to work in a scrum/agile environment, using cutting edge technologies on a large-scale, long-term project in one of the most beautiful cities in the world? If so, we would like to meet you!

At our Berlin office multiple scrum teams work on the successor of RPLAN, the market-leading project management tool. We use JavaScript and CoffeeScript throughout the whole stack, from database to the application layer to the front-end code of the browser. We don't believe in monolithic frameworks, but lean and KISSy atomic parts. We have very high standards when it comes to code quality, unit tests and continuous integration.

All developers work on all layers of the stack to implement a feature. Shared code ownership is our principle. The majority of the code is written in pair programming sessions to accelerate the distribution of knowledge among team members. We heavily use and contribute to open source, our repositories are hosted on GitHub.

• Development and rewriting our project management software
• Writing code in a pair programming scenario
• Agile development as member of a Scrum team
• Full-Stack development – From UX via Front-End and Back-End down to the Database
• Implementing designs and user stories created by your Scrum team

• Experience as lead developer / architect in a long-lasting software development project
• A strong technical background and experience in several programming languages (other than PHP)
• A deep understanding of web standards like ECMAScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• A passion for Clean Code and Test-Driven Development

• Extensive experience of JavaScript (or CoffeeScript) and knowledge of popular frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
• Experience with a NoSQL database (e.g. Couchbase or CouchDB)
• Experience with continuous integration
• Good German/English language skills
