Job description, responsibilities and duties
Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our FONA team as a Chief Accountant in Bratislava.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for Accounting of Slovak Legal Entity
• Full responsibility for local taxation and liaison with Taxation Consultants (VAT and Corporation Tax)
• Responsibility for monthly close and reporting on balance sheet towards our parent company based on US GAAP standards
• Responsibility of statutory annual and group annual closing reports and packages
• Update, control and management of internal guidelines and procedures
• Providing financial analysis and overviews for management
• Manage the audit process and act as primary contact for Auditors

• Familiar with ERP Systems and international accounting standards (MS Dynamics a strong advantage)
• Fluent English is a must any other language – advantage
• Strong customer support focus
• Excellent priority setting and time management
• Knowledge of Slovak accounting standards
