What does working as Distributed Systems Virtualization Admin in First Data Slovakia entail?
• Is responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the systems environment.
• Administration of production and development virtualization platforms within large (several thousands of VMs and hundreds of hypervisors) within Tier 3 Datacenters across multiple countries like UK, Germany, Slovakia, CEE/SEE, Brazil, India.
• Monitors systems, responds to problems and plans for growth. Provides ongoing systems analysis.
• Working with multinational team on consolidation projects.
• Assists in designing, developing, testing and implementing technical solutions for business applications.
• Evaluates and integrates new hardware configurations and provides support of client technologies on mainframe platforms and peripherals.
• Responds to work requests regarding installation, configuration and/or maintenance of client software and the deployment of new technology releases, troubleshooting, and software repair.

• Excellent knowledge of server HW technology (HP, DELL)
• Practical experience with scaled VMware vSphere 5 virtualization environments (3+ years) (VCP or other certification is an advantage)
• Practical experience with Citrix application delivery platforms (3+ years)
• Experience with management of services within corporate environment
• Good knowledge of ITIL and best practices for Change and Incident management
• Key Technologies: VMware vSphere/ESXi, Citrix XenApp
