Job description, responsibilities and duties

IAM security engineer is responsible for delivery of access management services across multiple different system platforms and applications (including, but not limited to: Windows AD, Tandem, Stratus, Mainframe, SAP, Citrix, DBs, Web Apps). He/she has oversight of access management processes and directly works on their creation, deployment and continuous evaluation of their effectiveness.
IAM engineer works with the system/application owners on establishment of access controls in line with security standards requirements and is responsible for platform specific user lifecycle management processes. Security engineer works with Identity management tools and provides 3rd level support including incident management, problem management, change management, operational maintenance and continuous improvements.
With other members of the team cooperates on multiple projects related to implementation of new technologies, services and customer’s onboarding. Further he/she seeks for opportunities to optimize work tasks through simplification of the processes and to automate repeatable work tasks by scripting, or use of alternative tools.

Personality requirements and skills

At least 6 years of experience in several of the following fields:
• Windows 2008/2012 and Active Directory administration
• Implementation and administration of IT security solutions related to access management
• Support of IT infrastructure including issues root cause analysis and incident response
• Scripting and automation of repeatable tasks (PowerShell)
• Database administration and support (SQL)
• IT projects cooperation
