Job description, responsibilities and duties

Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions.
• Supports existing systems across multiple environments and technical aspects of a project.
• Provide installation, configuration and maintenance services of Middleware platform
• Monitor performance, fine-tune processes and manage capacity planning
• Works independently with IT functional units and business units.
• May design and develop specialized automation tools, scripts, and processes for the administration and performance monitoring of system
• Participates in creating and developing local system engineering standards, best practices, support guidelines and procedures
• Daily working with modern and common used technologies like:
o UNIX/Linux platform,
o B2B Integrations,
o Application Servers (WebSphere, JBOSS, Tomcat)
o Web Servers (Apache, Tomcat),
o LDAP Servers,
o MQ Servers,
o SOA Platform,
o BPM and specific banking applications.
• Provide 24x7 Oncall support

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

UNIX/Linux administration - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

Computer skills:
• UNIX/Linux - advanced
• Scripting (bash, perl, python, groovy); JAVA programming is an advantage
• Ability to Troubleshoot JAVA based applications (Take Thread dumps, heap dumps)
• Knowledge of middleware is an advantage (Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot):
• SOA architecture (ESB, Process Server)
• Web server (Apache httpd)
• Application server (JBoss, WebSphere, OAS)
• LAMP
• Willingness to permanently improve skills and knowledge
• Understanding of Networking, firewalls and load balancers
• Strong Communication Skills/Team Player
• Provide 24x7 Oncall support
• Follow Standards and Guidelines

2 plus years experience in systems administration, optionally also with middleware.
