Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a new colleague for our Application team!
If you are interested in learning about payment solutions (Apple pay, ATM`s, POS terminals, VISA, MasterCard, American express etc.) and work with new technologies, this position is perfect for you!

What does working as Application Administrator in First Data Slovakia entail?

Your main responsibility will comprise of operation and maintenance of application and its multiple environments (Production, Test) and includes:

- Provide application administration support for payment authorization system
- Incident resolution support (troubleshoot, fix), incident management within defined SLAs, search for solutions of issues in cooperation with various teams
- Implementation of changes and patches to all supported environments
- Participation on migration projects for a new client onboarding
- Capacity and performance management for applications
- Maintaining operational procedures and documentation
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity management for application

Our team will help you to get on board quickly and you will be professionally trained into payment authorization systems within first 3 months.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Intermediate (B1)

Other knowledge

UNIX/Linux - Basic

The position is suitable for a fresh graduate

Personality requirements and skills

- Basic knowledge about scripting and SQL
- Experience in Unix/ Linux system administration is advantage
- Basic knowledge of IP Services is advantage
- working experience with application administration support (databases, enterprise systems like SAP, etc) ideally in financial industry
