Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Project Manager is responsible for driving complex, high priority, projects or component phases of larger programs. Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This individual will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.

1. Insures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving:
• Project Schedule
• Risk and Issue Management
• Scope Change Management

2. Manages the project budget. This includes understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively.

3. Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal.

4. Facilitates/manages project communications and stakeholder, client and project team expectations.

- Accomplishes all project management related tasks for setup and migration projects
- Project related capacity planning and resource allocation/reservation
- Responsible for major / strategic projects
- Works closely together with the program management or PM of customers and their respective organization, external partners and FD internal work stream leaders
- Assures project results on basis of project order, defined scope, business objectives, timetables and budget
- Centralized instance for coordination of estimations, planning, forecasting and reporting of deliverables
- Responsible for prioritization of tasks across and within projects
- Aligns scope of work with customer requirements
- Organization and moderation of the client related cross-departmental workshops
- Communicates into the program level or steering committee as well as the internal organization

Personality requirements and skills

- At least 4 years of relevant direct work experience as a Project Manager preferably in the area of IT and banking
- Experiences and skills in the area Information Security and Cyber Defense advantage
- University degree
- Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
- Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
