Job description, responsibilities and duties
Security engineer for Unix access management is responsible for centralized authentication solution (QAS) for distributed Unix (Linux, Solaris..) servers. He/she will maintain the solution both from the technical and process perspective. He/she performs daily system support tasks for QAS solution components, including operational maintenance, 2nd and 3rd level user support, incident-, problem-, performance management. QAS engineer will participate in deployment of the QAS solution, including but not limited to designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting it. He/she must be able to identify, interpret, document and communicate requirements of the QAS central Unix authentication solution towards the infrastructure support teams – Unix, Windows and network team.

Knowledge of ITIL service management framework and its practical implementation
Quest Authentication Service solution knowledge preferred
