Responsible for confidentiality of client information and compliance with department standards and procedures. Designs, installs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots complex operating systems software and related program products. The job holder will be required to design/deploy/support-firewalls/network security infrastructures. More specifically his/her duties include:
- Perform firewall policy reviews for audit and inventory
- Consult on security issues, vulnerabilities and best practices
- Monitor traffic and access logs in order to construct additional policies
- Work with application developers /customers to ensure that proper security controls are identified, implemented, and tested Document policies and operating procedures.
- Participate in an Incident Response Team as necessary.
- Provide “on-call” support as appropriate
- Validate rule creation / cleanup rules as appropriate using corporate tools

• Network Security Knowledge
• Strong Knowledge in extensive rule set creation and log analysis
• Validate rule creation / cleanup rules as appropriate using corporate tools
• 2- 4 years of relevant experience
• Technical Environment: Cisco PIX/ASA products and Nokia and Checkpoint products.
• Good communication and organizational skills with team spirit and flexibility
• Awareness of Security standards, best practices (PCI as an example)
