Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the systems environment.
S/he will also monitor systems, respond to problems and plan for growth.
Another responsibilities include:
- Providing of ongoing systems analysis.
- Assistance in designing, developing, testing and implementing technical solutions for business applications.
- Creating Change plans.
- Evaluation and integration of new hardware configurations and providing support of client technologies on mainframe platforms and peripherals.
- Responding to work requests regarding installation, configuration and/or maintenance of client software and the deployment of new technology releases, troubleshooting, and software repair.
- Working on small and large projects that have system-wide impact and integrate across the organization.

Degree in computer science or related field 3+years of relevant experience
A solid understanding of IBM AIX and Linux incl. but not limited to paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and what device drivers do, filesystem concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions)
Comfortable with all aspects of UNIX/Linux operating system administration; for example: system installation and configuration, printer systems, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software
Operating Systems tuning and configurations, availability/resiliency, back-ups, and security considerations, OS hardening
Familiarity with High Availability Solutions (clusters)
Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (Tk, Perl, a shell)
Understanding of Networking and load balancers to request the rules and help the network team in debugging and implementation
Ability to provide 24x7 on call support
