Job Description

We offer a position for distributed SCM administration and the management of metrics.
The distributed SCM (software change management) administrator is responsible for all processes regarding to the software development and migration processes on the open system side.
In teamwork with the application and technical architects in Bad Vilbel you will build, setup, rollout and maintain the distributed SCM processes. According to the existing development and migration standards you are responsible to define new standard guidelines supporting our SDLC processes.
User and release support will be part of the daily work.
In the metrics area you are responsible for reporting, metrics and time tracking for GPD Bratislava and Germany.You will define, create and maintain various reports in dashboard format containing all relevant data for management (Development, Test and Production).
One of the major activities will be resource time tracking within CA Clarity.
You will be responsible for allocating resources to projects and creating reports relating to resource workloads.

Duties in the SCM area include very close contact to our security administrators, DBA and network administrators while performing the following:
Contribute in all phases of the distributed SDLC
Consultancy within multiple projects
Report development progress to the Application Architect / Team Head
Ability to present results and chosen development approaches
Build / configure / develop solutions within the specified timelines.
Responsible for user support regarding all web related SDLC processes
Contribute during production handover process. Ensure success of setting new versions into production. On-Call duty for supporting the production handover process.
Stay active and current in business technology trends, direction and innovation related to business process and technology areas of focus for the position.
Contribute to overall team performance, including support and assistance of other team members where necessary
Duties in the metrics area include very close contact to our management while performing the following:
Contribute in all phases of the metrics process based on the tracking of incidents within USD (Unicenter Service Desk) and defects tracked within MQC (Mercury Quality Center)
Build / configure / develop solutions in teamwork with the application and technical architects in Bad Vilbel within the specified timelines
Consultancy within multiple areas in Bratislava and Bad Vilbel
Report metrics to the Management team in Bratislava and Bad Vilbel
Ability to present results and maintain the dashboard
Responsible for allocating resources to projects and creating reports relating to resource workloads within CA Clarity
Responsible for setting up metrics and preparing ad-hoc, daily, weekly and monthly reports for presentation to all managers within the GPD area
Stay in deep contact with other GPD organizations to sync the reporting

Contribute to overall team performance, including support and assistance of other team members where necessary

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience (3 years+) in Software developing (distributed side)
Minimum 1+ years of distributed SDLC experience
(CA Change Manager Enterprise Workbench knowledge preferred)
Implement services / applications and develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant systems focused on creating solutions within service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills with a strong understanding of principles behind service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Basic knowledge in the following framework / technologies: JSF, MyFaces Trinidad, Spring WebFlow, Spring Web Services
Basic knowledge in relational databases, Linux, JBoss, Browser
Excellent communication/problem solving skills/ troubleshooting and analysis skills, verbal and written
Must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced, goal-oriented environment
Must have strong initiative, be positive in approach and a quick learner
Aility to work independently and in a team environment when necessary
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with others at all levels, and across geographical boundaries
