Software Developer (m/f)

Your job description:
  • You are head of project management and in charge of the implementation of a new machine control software
  • You work independently on projects in the field of Machine and System Control
  • Working on design and architecture of future software products are a welcome challenge
Your profile:
  • Graduation from university or college, preferably with major emphasis on computer-/ electrical-/ communications- or automation engineering
  • Extensive experience with microsystem technologies, automation and device engineering
  • Ready-to-use professional experience with the programming languages C, C++, preferably also C# and Pascal
  • Experience with the operating systems Linux and MS Windows®
  • Available knowledge of programming in real-time environments, in particular Linux
  • Passionate about software solutions for various machine control scenarios, from driving single actuators to the interaction of complex process sequences, system tuning, calibration and optimization
  • Profound knowledge of automation engineering with SPS/NC/PC and fieldbus systems, preferably also experience with setting up dynamic drives
  • Ideally, experience with programming SPS controls in IEC 61131-3, implementation of modular drive units, setup of fast process sequences, coupling of the SPS control with assigned control computers, i.e. for GUI or vision system
  • Willing and persistent in acquainting yourself with existing software projects
  • Teamwork skills
  • The ability to work independently and on schedule
  • Organizational skills, team-orientation and creativity
  • Communication skills and a confident appearance
  • Above-average motivation and flexiblity
  • German and English language skills
  • Beneficial are additional qualifications, such as:
    • Knowledge of CAN bus and CAN protocols
    • Experience with programming microcontrollers or real-time systems
    • Knowledge of microelectronics technologies
