Business Development Manager (m/f)

As part of Business Development team you will be responsible for:

• Achievement of assigned sales targets,
• Identification / development of new clients across geographical territories (emphasis on Europe and USA) and within different kinds of organizations (large pharma, mid-sized pharma, biotech, not-for-profit organizations including academia, and generics companies),
• Organization of sales visits, identification of new opportunities, presentations of Fidelta’s offering, coordination of visits to customer/prospect with relevant scientific representatives and follow up procedures,
• Engagement with potential clients to convince them that Fidelta is the company that will further their research pipelines,
• Keeping in touch with the needs of existing clients, dealing with issues raised, in order that existing contracts are profitably retained and the case can be made for Fidelta to undertake new work for them.

To be successful as the Business Development Manager we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following:

• Scientific background in the field of pharmacology, preferably with a PhD
• At least 1 year of experience in Business Development in a drug discovery CRO environment
• Understanding of the whole drug discovery process
• Ability to travel for extended periods of time
• Excellent social, communication, influencing and presentational skills
• Ambition with a desire and drive to actively participate in building a successful business in a highly competitive environment
