Job description, responsibilities and duties

Come to work as a Senior C++ Developer / Technical Lead within Credit Risk valuation team, contributing to all parts of the development process, participating in technical designs and user story analysis.

You will take part in building the strategic Risk and Analytics Counterparty Credit Risk platform used for internal risk management and regulatory reporting.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Agile development using C++ and Visual Studio 2015
o Producing SOLID code with excellent test coverage
o Delivering solutions within a DevOps environment with a relentless focus on automation of testing and deployment via TeamCity and Wolf External Test Client framework
o Full participation in Kanban software delivery process backed by Jira/Git/Bitbucket tooling with strong emphasis on code reviews and team collaboration

• Stakeholder management and leadership
o Building relationships and trust with Quantitative Analytics, Counterparty Risk Methodology, and Counterparty Risk Control teams, especially those responsible for Counterparty Credit Exposure valuations, as well as other technology teams

• Decision making and problem solving
o Effective problem solving and application of appropriate algorithm to coding task at hand

• Risk and Control

YOUR PROFILE:
• Required
o Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Mathematics or Scientific discipline from a top university
o Extensive C++ development experience covering
 Server side development
 Multi-threaded code
 boost library (ideally v1.51+) and C++11 language constructs
o Strong appreciations of SOLID design principles and its effective application in practice
o Excellent problem solving skills
o Experience with building risk generation system in another bank or financial software house
o XML and XSLT technologies
o Agile development (preferably Scrum/Kanban)
o Regular and confident interaction with end-users and customers
o Providing support and resolving issues for systems in production
o Cross-region teams and projects
o Basic knowledge of C# development

• Preferred
o Experience building credit risk system in another bank or financial software house
o Familiarity with Monte-Carlo based techniques used in CCR exposure calculations
o Experience in debugging difficult to reproduce issues in highly distributed software stack
o Legacy code refactoring techniques
o Experience with development in C# language and .Net framework
o Server side development
o Service Oriented Architecture using Rest
o Development in scripting language such as Python
