JAVA Developer - Trading Algorithms

You will participate on development of Connectivity Middleware systems for a German highly-reputated company. Its design is driven by demands for shorter time-to-market, faster responsiveness to changing regulations and elimination of dependencies on end-of-lifecycle technologies. The high reliability, scalability and performance requirements of the platform will challenge your technical skills and provide ample opportunities for improvement. You will acquire insight into financial market products and processes.

We are looking for candidates with different levels of experience and skills in the following areas:

 Technical skills in the following domains are required:
o Java/JEE
o Object oriented analysis and design techniques
o SQL

 Experience in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:
o Deploying applications to Application Servers, especially JBoss
o Development in a Linux environment, Shell scripting
o Experience in financial markets
o Agile development methods

 Soft skills, others:
o Strong communication skills
o Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
o Highly self-motivated, self directed and attentive to details
o Proficiency in written and spoken English
