Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Deals Desk department provides commercial support to the European sales teams to ensure proposed sales arrangements meet gross margin requirements, minimize commercial risk, and comply with both discount policy and channel strategy. The key interfaces are with the Field Sales Teams, Revenue Controller group, Product Divisions and Channel Management Team.
Responsibilities
• Review special pricing requests for justification, profitability and non standard contract terms
• Work with Deals Desk and Revenue Controller Group to ensure the necessary revenue deferrals are in place
• Key liaison point for other functions

• Commercially minded - main role is reviewing pricing requests
• Ability to work in a team as well as with independent approach
• Decision-making attitude
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure, with attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Excellent level of English. Another European language would be an advantage.
• SAP or Oracle experience is an advantage
