Software Development Project / Product Manager

We are seeking a talented Software Project Manager / Product Manager with a robust background in software development projects to join our dynamic team. This is a Work From Home (WFH) position based in Slovakia, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Fluency in English is required, and experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies is essential.

This is a full-time employee position (Trvalý Pracovný Pomer - TPP).

Experience with Software Development project is a must.

Candidates with Software Development background that progressed to management positions are strongly preferred. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage software development projects, working directly with developers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Utilize Scrum/Agile methodologies to facilitate project planning, execution, and review.
• Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure effective communication among team members.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, working closely with the development team to translate these into actionable tasks.
• Drive product development and enhancements, ensuring alignment with market needs and company strategy.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Experience and knowledge in the cybersecurity domain are highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing software development projects, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies and their application in software development.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Direct experience working with software developers, understanding their workflows, challenges, and requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in product management, including gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and translating them into actionable tasks.
• Experience and knowledge in the cybersecurity domain are highly desirable.
