Job description, responsibilities and duties

In the role of a Senior PHP Developer you will be creating and optimising large high-performance and high-traffic websites focusing on customer experience. Specifically, you will be:

- Implementing new features in clean code focusing on great reusability in agreement with principles like KISS or SOLID.
- Developing highly testable code suitable for the fast agile environment.
- Working together in autonomous, cross-discipline agile development teams to successfully meet team goals.

This position is based in Vienna, Austria and requires your full-time presence in our office. You will be an employee according to the Austrian law with full social security and resulting benefits.

Personality requirements and skills

- Strong knowledge of object-oriented development, MVC and versioning system (HG of advantage).
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS is an advantage.
- Knowledge of TDD, ATDD, BDD (preferably PHPUnit & Behat) is an advantage.
- Experience with agile development practices is an advantage.
- Familiarity with *NIX like environments is an advantage.
