Job description, responsibilities and duties

The European Alliance for Innovation (EAI); www.eai.eu is a community-driven organization devoted to empowering ICT innovation in Europe. As the largest of its kind EAI is expanding its operations in Central Europe in cooperation with the Slovak Technical University. Through its over a hundred events worldwide, EAI provides an environment for ICT innovation community to interact. EAI is currently seeking a qualified Venue Manager to join the already strong team in Bratislava to support its conference activities in cooperation with researchers and industry around the globe.

Technical skills:
• Experience in venues management (hotels/events/congresses);
• Experience in selecting venue locations based on conditions, such as considering conflicts with other events, touristic value, etc;
• Experience in negotiating venues, DDR rates and all aspects of venue conference contracts;
. Ability to construct and review contracts in detail.
. Financial budgeting skills;

Organizational skills:
• Autonomous thinking and good analytical skills;
• Capability to adapt to fast paced dynamic environments;
• Excellent writing and oral skills;
• Ability to work hands-on and with limited supervision;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Proficiency (C2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)
