The European Alliance for Innovation, www.eai.eu, is a worldwide community-driven organization devoted to empowering ICT innovation. In particular EAI crowd evaluation tools for conferences and publications have been recognized by the European Commission as a ground breaking approach to supporting idea dissemination.

For its office in Bratislava EAI is now seeking an Intern for the role of CommonLisp/Haskell Developer. This role may be a starting point in your career, giving the intern the possibility of progression to more senior roles within the organization.

Job Requirements
Technical skills

- Student of computing or related disciplines;
-Knowledge of Functional Programming Languages: CommonLisp/Haskell;
-Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git;
- Experience with relational DBMSs (PostgreSQL in particular);
Following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Knowledge of front-end technologies: Html5, CSS, Ajax, JSON API’s Javascript
- Familiarity/Experience with Message Broker Protocols (AMQP/RabbitMQ);
- Experience and knowledge of agile methodologies, software design methods

Specific Job responsibilities will include:

-Contribution to the maintenance and evolution of existing tools which support community organization and publications;

Organization skills:
-Autonomous thinking and problem solving skills;
-Ability to work in teams;
- Working knowledge of the English language
