Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Technical Skills

- Experience with conference management;
- Experience working with volunteers in scientific communities;
- Knowledge of office practices, policies and procedures with practical experience using MS Office suite products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Excellent command of English (level C1 certification);

Specific Job responsibilities will include:

- Supervising the organization of technical conferences
- Managing the event successful execution cycle
- Supporting the volunteer conference organizing committees, from committee set up, to website, to call for papers, call for participation, budget monitoring, venue management and content publication;
- Supervision of the preparation of the Marketing Material;
- Liaison with partner organizations and sponsorship acquisition
- Promotion of the Events (press releases, calls dissemination etc.).

Organization skills:

- Good organizational skills to support multiple parallel events
- Ability to work with scientific research communities
- Ability to develop good customer relationships
- Autonomous thinking and good analytical skills;
- Capability to adapt to dynamic environments;
- Excellent writing and oral skills;
- Ability to work hands-on and with limited supervision;
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
