Job Description

Euromonitor International – Eastern Europe is expanding its Syndicated Country Research team and seeks a bright Research Analyst to join its Central East European desk.

Research Analyst will pass in a learning cycle that would include set of professional trainings as well as responsibility for research in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Euromonitor provides a unique chance for young, bright and inexperienced person to develop practical skills in different research techniques and acquire deep knowledge of FMCG industries in Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Euromonitor also gives a great opportunity to directly compare trends and data with Eastern European, Western European and Nordic regions, immediately sharing findings with colleagues from different countries and regions.

You would join a team of smart, fun and professional individuals in fast growing Vilnius Euromonitor office.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Coordination and management of in-country research staff
• Secondary research, to gather published information;
• Primary research (trade interviews);
• Report writing;
• Client-facing responsibilities, which may include responding directly to clients regarding queries;
• Attending conferences, giving presentations, writing articles;
• Building research contacts across FMCG industries and developing regional expertise.

Research Analyst Profile

• Knowledge of FMCG markets and socio-economic development in Czech Republic and Slovakia
• Fluency in oral and written English, Czeck and Slovak languages is required
• High numeracy and analytical skills, with an ability to interpret, analyse and present statistics in an interesting way
• The ability to work both independently and in team, ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Organizational and multitasking skills in order to structure the workload in the best possible way
• A background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable, but not essential.
