Reservations Agent (f/m) NH Gate One **** - full time

The Reservations Agent is together with the Sales Manager & the Revenue Manager responsible to maximize revenue and profit opportunities for the hotel by assuring prompt, complete and competent quotations to all assigned group requests adhering to given rate guidelines and Hotel budget per market segment and in line with NH operating standards. She/he is the key contact for assigned leisure group, corporate, conference & FIT reservations from initial request until arrival of the group. She/he is responsible to check and clean the systems according the NH guidelines

1. Handles all incoming requests and all assigned group segments according to NH Standards.

2. Writes initial proposals adhering to rate/yield guidelines and market situation.

3. Quotations are executed according to NH standards.

4. Checks and evaluates the reservation system (TMS / SAP) on a daily/weekly basis. Checks and evaluates the availability and the homepage, the optional and tentative bookings.
5. Attends assigned meetings (Revenue Meeting, Department Meeting, Strategy Meeting, All Employee Meeting)

6. Prepares relevant information for daily, weekly and monthly meetings, yield meetings, travel trade, forecasts & revenue meetings.

7. Creates the weekly and monthly Operations Forecast and the daily pick up.

8. Ensures timely flow of information to the entire hotel operations by creating function sheets and group finalisation orders to guarantee smooth run of operation.

9. Participates in in-house sales functions such as site-inspections, dinners, lunches, client events and fam trips together with respective Account Sales Manager or Conference Sales Manager.

10. Fully understands the budgets, revenue plans and sales action plans relevant for the rooms business.

11. Actively promotes hotel and NH World corporate program

12. Fulfils special assignments and projects as assigned by the General Manager, Revenue Manager or Rooms Division Manager.

13. Set-up and participate at pre-con meetings when needed for involved departments and executive management.

14. Rate loading in all systems according to instructions General Manager, Rooms Division Manager or Revenue Manager

Beside the above mentioned duties and responsibilities, the employee can also be involved in other duties and responsibilities of other departments.
