Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for a Project Manager for international translation company.
Main duties include management of translation projects in a timely and cost effective manner while maintaining a high level of quality, and creation/maintenance of client glossaries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- coordinating translation projects
- guide technical and commercial content flawlessly through the translation process
- ensure smooth communication with the client and the translators
- maintains a thorough knowledge of programs and industry terms and standards
- reports on a daily basis to the Translation Services Coordinator and provides updates to projects in progress

Personality requirements and skills

- interest in languages, leading skills, pro-activeness, creativity
- experience with translation tools (SDLTrados, MemoQ) is an asset
- degree in Translation, or the equivalent, with three or more years of related experience in different kinds of market segments
- excellent grammar and writing composition skills in English
- other languages are an advantage
- ability to articulate in a professional manner with clients and other company contacts on the telephone and via e-mail as needed
- ability to attend to multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude
- excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills are essential
- knowledge of multiple foreign languages with cross-cultural experience is preferred
