Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

My client is a leading global pharmaceutical company with a long history of innovation and success across multiple therapeutic areas. Renowned for their 'patient-centric' approach, this company is a front-runner in the field of oncology, amongst others. Prior to the launch of a new oncological product, my client is now seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Oncology Slovakia to provide local field-based support from a medical perspective. This position will ideally be based in Bratislava or elsewhere in western Slovakia and will involve a significant level of national travel.

Reporting to the Medical Director for Central & Eastern Europe, the MSL Oncology Slovakia will be the main medical contact person for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Providers (HCPs) throughout Slovakia. You will be responsible for identifying and developing strong and sustainable peer-to-peer relationships with these players to support the medical / scientific credibility of the company, as well as offering a field-based point of scientific and clinical expertise for other internal stakeholders. As an extension of this, you will be instrumental in the development and delivery of key medical activities e.g. Advisory boards and peer-to-peer training activities, amongst other related functions. This is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself in a key role as part of a growing team focused on delivering the best for oncology patients.

For this position, I wish to speak with well-organised, motivated candidates with a strong scientific background (Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalent) and a minimum 2+ years' pharmaceutical / life sciences industry experience. Whilst experience in the oncology area is strongly preferred, it is not essential and candidates with industry experience as Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and other clinical / medical functions may be considered. Strong business acumen, an outgoing manner and advanced Slovak and English language skills complete your profile.

If you are interested in applying for this position or have any questions regarding other opportunities in life sciences throughout Central Eastern Europe and Germany, please get in touch using the link below or by visiting the homepage Hudson CZ: http://cz.hudson.com/.
